The idea
A regular watch shows the time. Merivian also shows where you are in your day.

Merivian is an analog watch with a 24-hour dial. It’s like a map of your personal waking day. It shows you where you are between wake-up and bedtime.

How it works

A 24-hour dial, aligned to your day

The top of the watch marks your waking hours. The frosted section marks your sleep.

How do I read the time?

The brass hand marks the hour on the 24-hour scale. The slim hand shows minutes, exactly as on any watch: straight up on the hour, straight down at half past.

How do I set the dial?

Merivian has an extra crown for your rhythm: it turns the dial and locks in place. The regular crown sets the time. Neither is shown in this simulation. See the crowns in action

How often do you set the dial?

Usually once. Set it to the sleep–wake rhythm you follow on most workdays. It remains a quiet reference—not a rule.

How much sleep do you need?

Sleep needs vary. The two guides in the frosted section mark seven and nine hours—the recommended range for most adults. Treat them as guidance, not a strict rule. Source: National Sleep Foundation.

Three watch dials

How Merivian differs

Each dial below shows 10:09 AM. What changes is your sense of where it sits within your day.

123456789101112 141618202224 MERIVIAN WATCH CO.

Two rotations, one day

The hour hand turns twice a day, so 10:09 could mean day time or night time.

12 is not the middle of your day

Merivian shows your day the way you actually live it. From wakeup to bedtime. Your halfway point sits at the top of the dial, where the 12 never belonged.

Why Merivian

See your waking day more clearly

Everyone shares the same twenty-four hours. Fewer of us live them the same way. Seeing where you are in yours may help you pace the day, protect your sleep, or spend your evening more intentionally. That’s up to you.

Day and night belong on the same dial

Merivian is not only about the hours you are awake. The frosted sleep section keeps the other part of the cycle visible too. Wake, live, wind down, recover — one complete day.

“Your day” is literal. The same watch becomes personal when you set the dial to your own sleep-wake rhythm.

Without good sleep there is no good day. Without a good day there is no good sleep.

The details

Made to last

From its sapphire crystal and stainless-steel case to its Swiss quartz movement and long battery life, every detail is chosen for precision, durability and years of daily wear. The sleep gradient itself is laser-engraved at microscopic resolution—smooth to the naked eye, precise under magnification. Each watch is numbered on the case back, one of only 100 in its dial color.
